Know More About Your Nokia Cell Phone Battery

by Alice Sy

A Nokia cellular phone battery is made from lithium ion. Lithium-ion battery, also called the Li-ion battery, is a rechargeable battery most commonly used in cellular phones. It works because lithium ion travels amid the anode and the cathode. The ion travels from the anode to the cathode when discharging, and vice versa when recharging.

A Nokia cellular phone battery is of the lithium-ion type, which is one of the most commonly used batteries in cell phones and other electronic devices nowadays. It is rechargeable and if taken care properly, this type of battery will take long before wearing out.

It is best to keep your Nokia cellular phone battery from extreme weather conditions. Too much heat or too much cold can damage any cell phone battery. During extreme heat, there is risk of the battery overheating. In severe cold conditions, dew can develop around the battery when the cold begins to dissipate and this can potentially damage the battery and the cell phone.

Extending the battery life of your Nokia cellular phone battery will involve a few cell phone use adjustments. If possible, lower the ring volume of your phone and avoid using the vibration mode. If you are using your phone often you will have noticed that increased volume and vibration mode will cause your battery to be charged more frequently.

Therefore the lithium-ion type batteries were a blessing to the electronic world- they were easy to carry around and had much superb battery life and performance. One of the problems concerning a genuine Nokia cellular phone battery these days is that there are fake batteries circulating in the market. This proliferation of counterfeit batteries has created quite a stir in the consumer market because they are much cheaper.

Water For Fuel Is Here Now!

by James A. Redfield

Hi people, what is the 1st thing to come across your mind when you hear the phrase, Water for fuel? Many might say water used as a fuel source? That sounds like a possible Nobel Prize! Other people contemplate water as a substitute for fuel, which gets you to thinking and sooner or later it becomes too complicated for many of us and we forget about it. Is it for real? Can we as practical folks consider this accomplishable? Sure it is sensible for us to be careful but being overly-critical will not get us past the drafting board!

Let us look at the facts. The technology is as old as stainless steel, yet it’s just now catching on with everyday people. And it’s no surprise. Hard times and high gas prices are a great reason for people to make a hard look at what really is available to them.

Most pioneers and professionals in the industry of automobiles are well aware of this marvelous water for fuel technology notion but have not really been able to maneuver it well enough to put it to good use. While considering this as an option I ventured further into researching this concept and discovered that this technology involves partitioning water (H20 i.e. Hydrogen and Oxygen) onboard your vehicle NOT only to operate it but to boost the efficiency of its gasoline ignition.

I reiterate, it’s a supplement to gas not a substitute for it. Suddenly it all makes sense, if there is a way to segregate these two gases onboard our vehicle, the combustible properties of hydrogen can really do wonders as we all learned in chemistry class right? Hold your horses! How do we modify our car such that this system is efficiently integrated into our vehicle? Furthermore, what about the effect this would have on my car and the mileage it would promise? This called for more extensive research so I got hold of a few gentlemen who’ve adopted this concept.

Self Defense Tools Everyone Should Have

by Chris Channing

There are a certain amount of costs associated with being criminalized and even assaulted. If one is injured, they will need to provide insurance and even pay medical bills. Those who get items stolen can lose family heirlooms and other valuables. But as long as the right self defense equipment is obtained, this isn’t going to threaten the average consumer.

One of the favorites of females and males alike is the pepper spray. Pepper spray is incredibly effective since it attacks multiple things at once. It attacks the eyes of the victim and renders them temporarily blind, causes an inflammation of the skin, and even makes it difficult for the victim to breathe. And best of all, it is cheap and can be easily concealed for fast usage.

Stun guns are also quite popular for those who don’t have enough strength to get away from a heavily built male. Often times most who use stun guns are females, as they can quickly disable an attacker and force them to the ground in seconds. Although more costly, stun guns can come in many varieties, and can even have longer ranges than pepper spray to make for more safety.

Knives aren’t commonly used for self defense, since not many are skillfully trained in using knives. Others don’t like the fact that most metal detectors will cause a scene if they are carrying a concealed knife. But for settings such as the office or even at home, concealed knives that are manufactured to look like pens can give the defensive victim the precious act of surprise.

Make Biodiesel At Home Today

by Joseph Then

Biodiesel has many benefits, but one of the most exciting things about biodiesel is that anyone can make it at home. Imagine being able to make your fuel for your vehicle or even to create energy for your home right in your garage. That would mean major savings for you.

You may think that making biodiesel is very difficult but let me tell you this; it is simpler than you think. It is always better to make your own biodiesel as there are many rewards which come with it.

Supplies

To make a small batch of biodiesel at home all you need are a few supplies. You need the actual ingredients to make the biodiesel - alcohol, lye and vegetable oil. You also need some supplies to mix the fuel - empty plastic bottles, duct tape, a blender and measuring cups. Be sure anything you use to make your biodiesel is only used for that purpose and never used again in the kitchen for cooking.

Once you get all the ingredients and supplies ready, you are just a step away from making your own biodiesel.

The Process is Safe

Making biodiesel is not as dangerous as you think it is. There is little risk for fire or explosion as you may expect with fuel. However, this doesn’t mean that you should not protect yourself. In fact, you need to be careful or you can burn yourself. You need to be careful and realize the mixture does get hot.

You will go through the easy process of making biodiesel which involves mixing the ingredients, letting it set, separating the byproduct and biodiesel and then cleaning the biodiesel. The whole process can take a few days to a few weeks. That depends on how clean your vegetable oil was to start with.
