While it is acceptable for all people to construct and harbor their own beliefs in regards to Prop 102, there still seems to be some confusion and misunderstanding about the actual intent of the proposition. With this in mind, we encourage all residents of Arizona to base their opinions on the facts and cast their vote according this November.
Simply put; Prop 102 seeks to clearly define marriage in the state of Arizona as the union of one woman and one man. Prop 102 is not proposed to deny the rights or benefits of any individual, persons or group. Unfortunately, the purpose of the proposition has been the cause of much confusion for many. It should be pointed out that by seeking to clearly defining “marriage” as the union of one man to one woman; it does not imply that Prop 102 has any latent messages or intentions to limit rights. The proposition has nothing to with denying rights.
The single goal of Prop 102 is to offer a clear definition of the word “marriage” in the state of Arizona, any other intentions associated with the proposition is done in error. Prop 102 is simple and clear consisting of only 20 words, the entire proposition strictly relates only to the definition of marriage.
Prop 102 reads as follows: “Only the union of one man and one woman shall be valid or recognized as a marriage in this state.” Prop 102 appears on the ballot this November for the sole purpose of maintaining the traditional definition of marriage and in no way seeks to restrict the rights of any individuals.

The primary material for water pipes in major U.S. cities, between the late 19th and early 20th centuries, was lead. Its durability and malleability made it a very popular choice for pipe material. Eventually galvanized steel and copper would replace lead, and copper pipe would eventually become the most popular material used in home water service and distribution in mid to late 20th century construction.
Lead contamination was the top source of lead-related health issues before the hazards of ingesting it were known. The cause was pipe corrosion and erosion, and it raised stillbirth and infant mortality rates. Other plumbing or pipe problems are much easier to spot, but if you?re not testing for lead in your water, you?ll never know it?s there. You can find general information about lead contamination and how to test for it on the EPA?s website.
If you have lead in your water, it?s generally because of one (or more) of these: lead-based solder which used to be the primary way to join copper pipes, a lead service line pipe linking your house to the city or town water main, and brass (or chrome-plated brass) faucets. The U.S. Congress banned the use of lead solder containing greater than 0.2% lead in 1986. It also limited the lead composition of pipes, faucets, and all other plumbing materials to 8.0%.? As a result of this legislation, ?lead-free? brass legally can contain no more than 8% lead and plumbing installed before 1986 possibly contain higher levels of lead.
Water lines from the city or town water main to a home or building?s water system may be a lead pipe in older structures. If you or a previous owner of the structure had your plumbing system upgraded since 1960, it?s probably composed of galvanized pipe. Galvanized pipe doesn?t need lead solder to be joined. Faucets need to be checked for brass or chrome-plating, you?re the original manufacturer, a local hardware store, or a licensed plumber should be able to tell you if yours contain either.

The citizens of the Gaza Strip have been forced to live in constant fear of terrorist attacks for the greater part of a century. Palestinians and Israelis have warred against one another over who has claim to the land since it was given to the Jews in 1948. Bombings and kidnappings are all but a way of life, leaving this once peaceful state in shambles.
The Gaza Strip is rife with political contradiction and corruption. In retrospect, the actions of the Palestinians to retain control of Gaza have been considered by many to be outrageous and condemnable. Once the Israelis surrendered control of Gaza City, the Palestinians were divided into two major parties for the reign of Gaza- Hamas and Fateh. Will the Gaza Strip ever know peace?
The Palestinians will not give up and the Israelis will always enjoy seeing the Gaza Strip being ruined by its own people. As long as the Palestinians argue amongst each other over control, Israel will further enjoy a little break from having to answer to Hamas. Therefore, the future is the Gaza Strip looks sad and bleak.
Up to about 50 years ago, The Gaza Strip was a small area in Palestine where Muslims, Christians, and Jews all lived peacefully as neighbors while enjoying the use of the land for worship. When WWI came about and the British forces invaded Palestine the British government trained a Jewish army and gave the land as a gift to the Jews. That is when Israel was founded as a Jewish nation. With very little concern to the Palestinian citizens, they took over and attempted to evict them from their own land. Many escaped into neighboring countries but more stayed and fought for what they believed in. Gaza Strip Palestinians were of course part of the group that remained and thus how we define Gaza City today.

Most of us have heard the statistics about how rich folks pay most of the country’s taxes, right? According to an article by Ari Fleischer titled “The Taxpaying Minority,” the top 1% of income earners pay 37% of the nation’s tax bill. The top 10% pay 40% and the bottom 40%, middle class pay less than 5%, and the bottom 40% of workers pay absolutely nothing. Heck, with the “earned” income tax credit the very bottom even gets paid by the federal government simply for the sake of existing.
With the Earned Income Tax Credit many of these patriots even receive handouts by the federal government, taken from the rest of the chumps who pay taxes. When a large percentage of the population has no vested interest in the fiscal solvency of the state, they are prone to demand increasingly irresponsible programs until a crisis forces change. The Romans called the crisis “civil war” after which a dictatorship was established.
An unconstrained Democracy that fails to safeguard property rights will always tend to force a minority to pay the bills for the majority. Right now we have 60% of the population forcing 40% to pay the bills…why not make 1% pay for the other 99%?
As English historian, Alexander Tyler, stated in his analysis of the decline of Greek civilization, “A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority will always vote for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by dictatorship.”
