Article marketing is one of the fastest, least expensive, and most effective ways to boost your Internet presence.

With article marketing you will write articles about your field of interest and distribute them for publication on other websites, blogs, and ezines with a link back to your site. Each time your article is published on a website you get a one-way link to your site. Article Marketing is done by many people who ignore the keyword research part but this isn’t really wise. The use of keywords in your articles that in addition are properly used on your website will help to bring you the right kind of targeted traffic to your website.

The thought behind article marketing is that the articles are distributed everywhere and your content will be seen by a lot of people. The use of the right keywords in your articles will better insure that your articles are seen by people who have an interest in your subject and who will want to visit your website in order to learn more. Article marketing has been used by professionals for nearly as long as mass print has been available. In paper-print form (as opposed to online forms), article marketing is utilized commonly by business owners as a means of obtaining free press space.

Article marketing is a great tool that can promote you from being a bottom feeder to being one of the larger fish in the pond. Article marketing can be very effective when done right. The question is how are you doing it? When correctly done article marketing is a very effective way to promote your website, affiliate products or affiliate program. By writing an article that delivers value and offers a subtle mention of your affiliate product or critical keywords, you’re well on your way to getting the proper exposure for your promotion.

Article marketing is the key to exposing your articles and getting them seen through the web. There are a number of ways you can go about distributing your article on the web and marketing your article and your website at the same time. Article marketing is a very important aspect of making money online.

As your web site’s position in the search engine results pages (SERPS) depends to a large degree in the number of quality back links to your site article marketing can be extremely effective in increasing your websites online exposure. Article marketing is most probably the most effective link building strategy in existence. Article directories allow you to include a resource box for every article you submit and this resource box can contain your link.

Unless you do some major publicity work, pull off a media stunt, or are already famous, using article marketing techniques over time is one of the best marketing methodologies available to you. Article marketing is a great way to give the people what they want while drawing them into your website in order to see what you have to offer. You can surely increase your customer base by using good article marketing strategies.

Content articles are an essential part of search engine marketing and when done properly they can have a tremendously positive and long term effect to your web site business. Content is needed by countless site owners on a daily basis. These site owners visit article directories to get free content and when your articles contain great content their use can spread your message and links all over the Internet.

With article marketing keyword terms have been returned to their proper owners – businesses who have built niche-targeted, categorical web sites and spent months and years fortifying them with high-quality, intelligent content.

Keyword density is very important for the search engines to notice your article. After finding your keywords and phrases use them in your article, a good keyword density is about 10-15 %, if your word count is 700 words, then your keywords should appear 7 or 8 times. Using your keywords too much in your article will look like spamming and your article content would not make any sense to your readers, using too few keywords will end up unnoticed by the search engines, and this is not the result you are looking for. Be sure to check the article’s grammar and spelling as well. You should check each article that you write to insure that with the strategic use of your keywords the article still reads well and makes good sense.

Popular article sites on which your articles are published not only can pass some of their traffic on to you, articles from top article sites are often well listed in Google, Yahoo, MSN and other search engines. Give article marketing a try and after a few months you’ll be amazed by the results. People searching the Internet are typically looking for information. People looking for information use search engines to find it and with article marketing your well written articles have a good chance of being found.

A new breakthrough secret is all you now need in order to get your Google AdWords pay-per-clicks FREE!

A gentleman from New York discovered what he calls an “oversight” on the part of 99.9% of all marketers that allows him to get otherwise paid-for advertising at Google as well as all other search engines that allow sponsored ads.

And no, nothing about his “secret” is illegal – nor does it require that you know someone on the “inside” at Google, Yahoo, MSN, Overture and others.

Instead, the New Yorker boasts proudly “…this is something that I caught onto just before 2000 when there was so much search engine craze running around, and started doing small just to test things at first … but which I later expanded on after getting the hang of it.”

This same fellow went on to start and operate sixteen separate online companies selling everything from pet food, DVDs, children’s toys & games, books, software, and sold not only his own manufactured products but became an affiliate for other web businesses – all the while applying his mastermind secret.

Over the course of nearly eight years the New Englander confesses “I’ve actually gotten over $87 million in advertising that using my secret I never had to pay for … and the largest share of which was more recently in Google pay-per-clicks as well as other forms of pad advertising at search engines … all of which I got for free …”

So powerful is his secret that he’s able to monopolize any niche online, and can always secure the top premium spots just above the usual organic results featured at most search engines.

He still has to set up an account with the search engines – but after applying his secret he is removed from having to pay for all the costs otherwise involved.
Again, nothing about his secret is either illegal or robs from the search engines.

One spokesperson from one of the most popular search engines said chuckling after being made privy to this amazing secret “Wow! Ha! This is really unique … and in my expert opinion it would only serve to enhance and bring more business to us at [name of search engine withheld for legal & confidentiality reasons] and not cause us to lose business in the slightest. Amazing!”

The northerner revealed that in this nearly eight years’ period of time since applying his secret he’s done well over $300 million in sales revenue with a most diverse line of products, and most recently in the last two years netted nearly $166 million after really “buckling down and pressing my secret to its fullest potential.”

Now to everyone else’s fortune, the city slicker is releasing his secret for getting an unlimited amount of pay-per-click ads to the general public. But he’s not promising any of us for how long.

A bit of an eccentric, the gentleman says “We’ll see just how long I can make it available before it saturates things.”

One famous public web guru pointed out that although this man may gain economically more so as a result of the publication of his secret “he’s already so amazingly rich that whether he continues or discontinues its sale will neither make nor break the man, but not grabbing it for yourself while it’s still available could prove disastrous for you as you may only have one chance, and a very limited one at that, to get this.”

It is currently available at:

GetFreePPCAds

…so you may want to head on over there now and get it.

It’s in a very easily readable format and is quickly and readily understood and mastered by anyone with even a 4th grade reading level.

While you’re there, why not scroll down and review for yourself the huge successes others are now having with this incredible breakthrough in targeted advertising now made freely available to the rest of us?

So what exactly is the new craze for alternate reality games all about? And what are they anyhow?

This is the description given in the article posted in Salon Online Magazine.

“In ARGs, thousands of players hunker down at their computers and delve into games that are impossible for any one person to play on his or her own. There’s no software to buy and players don’t have a clear set of rules or an objective. Instead, gamers happen across something strange on the Internet, “fall down the rabbit hole” into a fantasy world, and figure out together what to do next.”

ARGs seem to have powerful effects on their participants. So much so that game players change the way they interact and live in the real world. For example, there were players in the ARG “World Without Oil,” who planted apple trees in their backyards, and converted their cars to run on used cooking oil. And I mean their real backyards and real cars, not the ones in the game.

This ability to influence people’s behavior has some experts worries. What if a game was developed by the wrong sort of people? Those who would use the behavior modifying possibilities for some evil purpose? The fact that the military is keenly interested in being able to use ARGs to manipulate large numbers of people should be a cause of concern.

Perhaps a game could be developed that convinces young men and women that the only solution to a threat developed in the game is to enlist in the military and right away volunteer for combat duty. Or an unethical politician has a game developed that makes people absolutely hate his opponent in an important election?

Sound impossible?

Consider this. One game in 2004 had over 600,000 participants from over 40 countries around the globe. The games controllers had people spending their own money to frantically travel all over each of the 50 states in the US looking for clues.

Marketers have been quick to express their interest in these alternate reality games. Just imagine a game that was so convincing that a few hundred thousand, perhaps even a few million people, had to go out and buy a specific product right now. What a way to boost sales.

There is power in these games. On the one hand the ability to bring large numbers of people together in one network is exciting. The collective mental power of the group could be used in very constructive ways to help solve some of the problems of the world.

On the other hand there could be the opportunity for a “Big Brother” spy ring to collect information about whatever or whomever the controllers wanted them to look into.

Another rather frightening thought is that for some people the distinction between what is real and what is in the virtual world would be lost. These poor souls could end up spending their entire lives playing a series of ARG’s and not even realize that it is all make believe.

But what if the games make these people fill important, happy, and fulfilled? How would you react to people happily living in a virtually reality world? Would you consider them as poor misguided souls or extremely lucky?

I’m sure all of you experienced webmaster know this but I’m going to remind everyone anyhow, just in case the importance of following through occasionally slips your mind.

Whenever you rearrange or add one or two things in your blog or website be sure to examine the results using different browsers. With so many browsers now being used it is probably impossible to keep up with them all but you should check with Internet Explorer and Firefox at the minimum.

I know from recent experience how important this can be.

I usually use Firefox when I’m working on my blog. A few hours ago I made a post and went live with the Wordpress Adsense Deluxe plugin. Everything looked fine in Firefox. A few hours later I opened up Internet Explorer. Wow! What a mess.

I had made an error in setting up a table and IE was not as forgiving as Firefox. I apologize to the poor surfers who visited the site during that time using IE. I seriously doubt if their visit lasted more than two seconds.

Sometimes even a small change with a tiny error involved can make a drastic difference in your site’s appearance. Do the smart thing and check right away.

Don’t get distracted and wait a few hours as I just did.

PayPerPost has recently caused quite a stir in the blogasphere by promoting a new way to drive traffic to advertisers webpages and blogs.

PayPerPost does exactly what the name implies. The company pays bloggers to post articles on their blogs that create a buzz that drives traffic to advertisers websites.

Some bloggers feel that for some reason this method of promotion is not suited to the blogasphere. These purists think that blogging should be for educational and self satisfaction reasons only. However, there are plenty of bloggers who blog for a number of good reasons, one of which is to make some money along the way. PayPerPost serves this forward thinking group of bloggers quite well.

Now PayPerPost has announced that they expanding their online efforts by acquiring another company. What type of company and the details of the transaction have not been revealed yet.

Curious? Well so am I.

Looking at the success of the PayPerPost operation thus far I predict that the acquisition will fit in well with PayPerPost’s business plan and will add to their online success while opening up new opportunities for bloggers.

Stay tuned folks. An important PayPerPost announcement will be made next week.

One of the better “how to make money by blogging” blogs in my opinion is Dosh Dosh

Dosh Dosh has come up with an interactive experiment involving the Technorati favorite function. As most of you would know if you are seriously involved with blogging Technorati is difficult to ignore.

Well, I suppose that you could ignore Technorati but since it is probably the premier blog tracking and blog social networking site on this planet doing so would likely be a big mistake. The Dosh Dosh idea is a simple one of genus.

In it’s simplest form it is just a favorite blog exchange. That is you favorite my blog and I will favor yours. The easiest way to do this is with the Technorati Fav button. Mine is located at the bottom right of this page.

Should you wish to participate in the experiment use the button to favorite my blog. Or just click this link to Technorati. I’ll periodically check my favorites lists and will return the favor, probably within a few hours. Occasionally I do travel so it could be a day or two at the most.

This is an interesting easy to take part in experiment that should help to get your blog noticed. Being noticed and receiving more traffic has to be a good thing, especially if you hope to sell ad space, take part in affiliate programs, or make any money at all with your blog.

To get a full run down on exactly what this experiment may accomplish for you and your blog visit Dosh Dosh. While there take a good look around. If you are into blogging you will find the site to be most interesting and useful.

Duly Noted:
Before getting into a mortgage loan, assert if you actually need the mortgage loan? If you really do, go ahead but only for interest only mortgages deal. This information is easily available from the mortgage brokers.

Everyone who is seeking to earn a little extra money, or to go for a full time living from working on the Internet, should agree on one thing. To make money on the Internet on a stable long term basis you must have your own website or blog and find affordable ways to bring a lot of targeted traffic to it.

These days starting a blog rather than building a conventional website probably makes more sense for most people as due to readily available marvelous blogging free software, such as Wordpress, most of the technical issues related to posting information are taken care for you. Once set up you can focus on writing and posting good original content and post it within seconds rather than manually building webpage after webpage.

Notice that I say affordable ways and targeted traffic. A flood of traffic from a “guaranteed traffic” company will probably be a complete waste of your time and money. The same can be said of counting upon traffic exchanges for your traffic. Just about all traffic received in those traffic classifications will fall into a junk traffic category that will inflate your traffic logs but not your bank accounts. The traffic is just too low in quality to be of any use.

At the other end of the traffic spectrum is PPC traffic. PPC ad campaigns can generate a lot of highly targeted traffic but at a cost. One must be very careful in setting up PPC campaigns as the costs for the clicks may be more than your revenues generated by the clicks. Successful ad campaigns can be produced but you must carefully monitor and often refine the campaigns to make sure that they are and stay profitable.

So what is the poor webmaster and blogger to do to get the required traffic flows to make his favorite online project a money maker?

The hard fact is that there is no easy push a button or two way. You must start with good content that people find to be valuable, entertaining, or at least interesting information, and you must produce that content on a regular basis for a long period of time.

Whew! That sounds like a lot of work. Well it is. However, when you write about a subject, perhaps a number of subjects, that you are passionate about the work becomes more like a pleasant task. Just be sure that there are enough folks out there in cyberspace who share in your passion. Writing to please a few readers in a tiny niche will not make you very much if any money. And writing to please only yourself may be a pleasant enough pastime but don’t expect to cash in unless you also please your readers.

You have to be prepared to write and post articles for a considerable period of time, probably a minimum of six months for most people, to build up the content of your publication and to enhance your reputation as an authority in your field. That is one reason you must have a passion for your subject. If you do not it will be hard to keep up with the volume of posts required to flesh out your publication.

OK, you have written a goodly amount of well written articles and have been indexed by Google, Yahoo, and MSN and other search engines. You are on your way to success as free traffic is what you really need in order to turn a profit. But you need a lot of it.

Here is one way to cleverly piggyback off high traffic sites who rank high in Technorati and are already well established in their niche. When you use this technique but sure to keep your comments on target and say something that adds value and perspective to the original post. As always content is important.

To read more venture over to the well known “evil” Internet moguls website. I’ll continue this series of articles about how to make money on the net for quite some time so check back now and then for that and hopefully a lot of other interesting material.
