Hillary and Bill Clinton Election 2008
The master is at it again.
Bill Clinton has been called by some political analysts as being the most naturally talented politician in American history. Bill lived up to that bold statement while once again campaigning for President, this time on behalf of his wife, Hillary Clinton, at the Iowa State Fairgrounds on July 2nd, 2007.
For the former President it was the first of what will likely be many such Hillary for President guest appearances. It is a given that Bill Clinton is so natually likable. He is also a master speech maker.
There is simply no comparison between Clinton and the current almost illiterate sounding current occupant of the White House.
No doubt that will draw the crowds. Whether that will translate into votes for his less gifted as a campaigner wife is yet to be determined.
To be fair to Hillary there is no candidate presently running for President who can measure up to Bill Clinton’s skill on the campaign stump. If anything Clinton is better than ever at delivering a speech.
He will have to carefully control his appearances on behalf of his wife. It’s a fine line between drawing a crowd and overpowering whatever it is Hillary may have to say.
After all this time around she is the one running for office and Bill is her attentive helping husband. The Hillary and Bill show should be an entertaining one to watch.
We will soon see. I’m sure there will be many more episodes to watch over the next 18 months.  Â
