Video Internet Business

About a year ago Ken Envoy, legendary Internet guru , and the owner of the hugely successful Site Build It enterprise, made a forecast as to how big video would become on the Internet. Ken said in no uncertain terms that it would be huge.

As usual Ken was right.

The amazing success of sites like YouTube has sent shock waves throughout the entertainment industry. When you can stay at home with your computer and watch countless funny, cute, sexy, informative, entertaining, videos who has the time or inclination to switch on the TV or go out to the movies?

When talented home video producers can earn hundreds and thousands of dollars a month by producing and uploading their clever videos to sites like Revver and Metacafe who doesn’t want some of that action?

And the opportunities to earn money from your home grown videos are just opening up. There are rumors that even the big gorilla YouTube will soon begin to share revenues with video producers.

One extra benefit of sharing videos online is that they can be an effective way to drive traffic to a website of your choice. Of course, to get the best results it is best to have the website and video closely correlated as to the viewers interest. This can be effective for a good many types of websites.

For example, if you produce a video about travel to Thailand and at the end of the video direct the viewer to your website offering great travel deals to Thailand you will likely see a jump in your conversion rates. The possibilities are limited only by your imagination.

US 2008 Election Candidates for President

The race for the biggest prize in the world is on and already gaining in intensity and momentum.

For the first time since 1928 a standing President or a Vice President will not be on the ticket, paving the way for a large field of President wanabes.

The first national TV debate was held last night. The debates were kicked off by the Democrats and will be followed by the first Republican debate on May 3th, 2007. During the 90 minute debate none of the candidates made any serious blunders. All of the Democrats were united on one issue. They all favor the rapid draw down of American troops fighting in Iraq.

With the field wide open for the candidates from both parties a large number of candidates have already thrown their hats into the ring. A few others, most noticeably Al Gore and Newt Gingrich, are still coyly assessing their chances. The most well known announced and likely candidates for both parties are:

DEMOCRATS

Hillary Clinton

Chris Dodd

John Edwards

Al Gore

Barack Obama

Bill Richardson

REPUBLICANS

Sam Brownback

Newt Gingrich

Rudolph Giuliani

Mike Huckabee

John McCain

Mitt Romne

You will find an excellent brief description of each candidate at this website.

At Article Discovery Politics you can expect a great deal of coverage on the 2008 election primary candidates for President. This coverage actually started a couple of months ago. Hillary Clinton 2008 US President Candidate

Hillary Clinton is one of the best known women in the world. Her story as told on her Hillary for President website is a compelling one.

Coming from a middle class American family in the middle of America she spend her suburban childhood in Park Ridge, Illinois. Hillary was the all American girl, a member of the Brownie Scouts, then the Girl Scouts, and a regular in her church youth group.

She graduated from Wellesley College, where her fellow classmates voted to have her give the first-ever student commencement address. Yale Law school was her next conquest.

Hillary has a long term interest in children’s affairs and health care, probably originating from her hard working mother’s influence as a child, and following graduation, followed that interest in becoming a staff attorney for the Children’s Defense Fund. Hillary can honestly say that she has been an advocate for children’s and women’s rights since her early college days.

When she followed her later to be famous husband, Bill Clinton, to Arkansas she took a position as director of a legal aid clinic for the poor. She handled cases of foster care and child abuse.

Bill Clinton and Hillary married in 1975. When Bill became governor of Arkansas she continued to pursue her interest in children’s and women’s rights and served on national boards for the Children’s Defense Fund, the Child Care Action Campaign, and the Children’s Television Workshop. When Bill Clinton became President of the United States in 1992 Hillary as First lady was able to influence affairs relating to her interests.

I dare say that the US has never had a more politically astute and intelligent couple serving as President and First Lady.
