Technorati Favorite Experiment Success

A few of the better “how to make money blogs” blogs in my opinion are Dosh Dosh and Garry Conn and Gauravonomics and Andy Beard .

While it was Dosh Dosh that came up with an interactive experiment involving the Technorati favorite function all of the above sites took part and added value to the process.

Technorati has been busy keeping up with the explosion of activity since the experiment started a few days ago. Technorati is probably the premier blog tracking and blog social networking site on this planet so moving up in any of its ranking categories will likely provide some benefits for your blog.

The Dosh Dosh idea is a simple one of genus. In it’s simplest form it is just a favorite blog exchange. That is you favorite my blog and I will favor yours. The easiest way to do this is with the Technorati Fav button. Mine is located at the top right of this page.

This is an interesting easy to take part in experiment that should help to get your blog noticed. Being noticed and receiving more traffic has to be a good thing, especially if you hope to sell ad space, take part in affiliate programs, increase your Adsense earnings, or make any money at all with your blog.

And how have I fared with Article Discovery Politics since I joined the Technorati experiment? Well , not too bad. From nowhere I have steadily moved up in the rankings and now have been favored by 142 blogs.

Yippee, I am very close to making the Technorati 100 list.

As of a few minutes ago 143 will put me into the 100th position. Frankly I am amazed that I could move up the list so far in such a short period of time. My thanks to Maki at Dosh Dosh, to Garry, Andy, and Gaurav for their assistance in helping me to move up so fast and to all of those who favored me.

The Dosh Dosh Technorati experiment has been a big success and I expect will continue to be for some time to come. I’m confident that all who have participated have discovered some great blogs and gained traffic as they moved up in the rankings.

Oh yes, I should also mention that my Technorati ranking was hanging around the 160,000 level before the Dosh Dosh experiment. I am now at 64513 and climbing (decreasing which is gaining in position). All within less than two weeks. Yippee! The experiment is a success. Thanks again Maki of Dosh Dosh.

Update: I made the Top 100 on April 24th moving into the 98th position. This early morning 3:00 AM , April 25th, I advanced in the Top 100 and am now in the 92th position. Yippee. Thanks again everyone.
